Here are some important reminders and details as our Mock Meet is 6 days away and our first official meet (at Willow Run) is 13 days away! As a reminder our team website is here Home - Brookwood Barracudas (swimtopia.com)

1. Swimmer/Signup and Declaration- You MUST indicate in Swimtopia whether your swimmer will attend each swim meet. This includes the upcoming Mock Meet Tuesday. We will assume that swimmers who do not indicate one way or another will be absent from the swim meet. "Undeclared" swimmers will not be entered into events.

2. Meet Signup/Declaration deadlines- You can sign up on either the app or the website. Sign up instructions can be found on the website under "Meets and Events" in "Sign up Instructions". The declaration deadline for each meet is 48 hours before the meet. For Tuesday meets (including the Mock Meet), the deadline is Sunday night and for Thursday meets, the deadline is Tuesday nights.

3. Mock Meet Info- Our mock meet is a chance for new swimmers to get an idea of how meets will run, feel, and sound. It's also a chance for seasoned swimmers to practice race conditions. It will be a great chance for parents to try out jobs and see how meets will be run. We will be running limited events (freestyle, backstroke, and freestyle relays only) for all age groups. 4. Volunteer Jobs- Speaking of jobs, please sign up for jobs at our meets. We cannot run meets without parent volunteers. Details of jobs and volunteering requirements for families can be found on our website under "Meets and Events", "Volunteering Requirements and Info".
